Hi,
Just introducing myself - I was diagnosed Type1 last year at the grand old age of 49. Still getting used to the idea, but coping. No history of diabetes in my family, so it was all very much a bolt from the blue! I'm now very much aware of just how poor the general public's knowledge of the condition is, not helped by poor media reporting.
