Hi to all who use this forum
After browsing through some of the posts I must say I felt a little relieve that I'm not struggling alone!
I'm 45 and I've been type 1 diabetic since 1994 between my wife and myself we try very hard to manage my diabetes but of late we are struggling big time. A few weeks ago after wearing a monitor for 5 day the doctor showed that my levimir was no longer working and that was suppose to be the reason my levels were sky high anyway I changed to Lantus but I now seem to be pumping more and more to try and get decent morning sugar never mind the rest of the day
I've always maintained a slim frame, I watch my diet so right now I'm at a loss as to whats going on so with some worry as I don't know what do do about insulin I'm about to embark on a low carb diet
