Hi I’m julieclarke I’ve joined to find out more about T2 diabetes

wow surprised me there with mention of subway didn't even know they did jacket potatoes must be a relatively new thing? Your mention of that has got me thinking a little more thanks. I need to revisit some menu's find it hard sometimes to find something suitable for own needs often perhaps discarding on basis of the 'regular known for menu items' . Don't suppose you've tried their ciabattas my body might be able to currently handle them :) thanks julie

As a student I had baked potato split with butter & cheese.
chilli con carne (Or a variant.) reheated smothered with cheese after a late night at a gig.?
I don't think I’ve had a baked spud in 15 years..

As a T1, I do need a lot of insulin for baked potatoes, though they are delicious. (I'm a big fan of cheese and butter.)

But as @julieclarke is on trulicity, she may be able to cope with more carbs than those T2s relying on diet? I guess her meter will say whether it is OK.

@julieclarke it would probably help if you put the fact that you are on trulicity in your profile?

Sorry, I'll bow out of this thread as I know nothing about Trulicity.
