Hi my name is Martina,I've had T1 diabetes for the past 38 years since I was 9 years old.I'm Irish and a secondary school teacher.I'm married and have two beautiful,healthy children.I'm generally well controlled and Thank God have no diabetic complications.I've been experiencing a lot of lows recently not "bad" ones as myself and my children call them (cos I've had some close shave 1.2 readings previously)but lows nonetheless and am finding it quite hard to bring up the blood sugar and sustain it.I would love to talk to other T1 diabetics,particularly people like myself who've had it for a long time.I hope I can be of help to other too.
