So i was diagonosed with diabeties type one at around the age 7 and i am now in my teen range age. Diabeties doesn't run through my family . My older brother doesn't have either.

Diabetes type 1 isn't inherited as such, it is an autoimmune condition so your family is at a higher risk for other autoimmune issues like pernicious anaemia, hypothyroidism, psoriasis, coeliac disease, sjögren´s syndrome to name a few. There are lots of them.

I, on the other hand come from a family with lots of type 2 diabetics. With a few autoimmune conditions thrown in as well!

Hello and welcome. As Totto says diabetes type 1 is not inherited. I am the first and only person in my family (that we know of) that has diabetes... or any autoimmune issue for that matter, though I have had a few. The joy of genetics I guess.

Still it makes for an interesting life and you get to meet all sorts of great (and possibly slightly crazy) people here
