Hi everyone. I am 48 and live in the USA. I went to hospital about 2 months ago, when I was diagnosed with type 2. A1c was 10.7. I have been working at low carb and testing blood sugar 4-6 times a day. I was reading posts and saw numbers like a1c posted of morning levels. I tested before breakfast at 135. Usually between 115-140. How do I convert those numbers? Thanks, I like this idea, just want to learn and participate.

Divide by 18 to convert mg/dl to mmol/l which is what is used in the UK (and a lot of other places)
HbA1c is a different thing.. kind of a 3 month average of your blood glucose levels.

Hello and welcome to the forum, @Offstars. Some pretty good numbers there -- really well done.
