rude people, state the country is now in, and how diabetes is monitored..
I'm new to this forum.diagnosed 12 years ago type 2 diabetic.
I am on metaformin, and take insulin injections, lantus and aspira.(4 jabs a day)
I started off diet controlled and now seem to be taking more and more insulin and still have high blood sugars. My last fasting blood test at hospital was 8.2.Previously it has been 8.7 and 8.5.This last test was done about a month ago.
My weight just seems to be going up since the insulin and I am wondering if there is any way I can change this.
I don't work due to other health issues. Therefore I don't do much exercise and lack motivation.Sitting indoors for 12 years and not working has made me lack any self esteem and motivation.I seem to be stuck in a downward spiral.
Have been eating badly since the bad weather started, as i have lost my motivation and am depressed about it all. any help or advice to give me anyone?

Hi master mouse - welcome to the forum :) There are lots of people here who will cheer you up. All good friends  Some will be able to help you with your problems too.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Have you heard about Victoza injections?
For some of us carefully watching our diet and injecting VIctoza once daily has not only brought the BG's tumbling down but also helped in the weight department. There is a section for Victoza so if you take a read through you will find how good it is for some users.
