A Alan6240 Member Messages 14 Apr 21, 2022 #1 Hi Is it normal for blood sugars to be raised after any form of exercise? I did a 5 mile walk and my sugars for around 2 hours after were very high. They have come down after drinking 3 litres of water. Does this happen to anyone else?

Our livers have evolved to help us hunt food and so tend to dump glucose into our blood stream in order to help fuel us for the exercise of chasing our food.
