In the short term, drink masses of water, avoid any fruit juice, tea or coffee with sugar, and squashes with any sugar.
- and avoid eating anything with carbs in.
In the longer term, maybe have a good long look at what you have been eating and trim back the carbs.
Is your blood glucose generally high? Or is this a sudden development?
Type 2s can eat normally and rely on drugs, or eat low carb and avoid a lot (or all) of the drugs, or go anywhere on the spectrum in between.
Maybe have a chat with your doc, and discuss increased medication.
