HIGH fasting glucose reading. Warning

Did my fasting bloods today and got a reading of 15.6... WOW usually bit less that 10. I had a serious panic then my smart wife asked...
" Have you washed your hands after cutting up the melon?"
I had not. Wash and retest. Down to 9.6.
Remember to wash before test

I didn't even know it was possible to cut up a melon without tasting a few pieces. Very impressed by taking a fasting reading after cutting up a melon!
