It's not as restricted as one might imagine
I'm similar. I have, eggs, cheese and full fat yoghurt. Interestingly fromage frais is virtually fat free and has less carbs than the ordinary greek yoghurt I have. I have mozzarella or feta cheese and nuts, also mackerel, salmon or tuna. I use olive oil and coconut oil.I don't consciously high fat- always disliked full fat dairy stuff apart from cheese so I still have low fat Greek yogurt, creme Fraiche etc though I check labels for hidden sugars( Asda put tapioca starch in their low fat CF!) and skimmed or semi skimmed lactofree milk. Only ever used butter on baked spuds and as they are off menu no need for it. I try and eat lean processed meat but do eat fat in pork etc, though probably less than I did before diagnosis as my taste buds have changed. I certainly don't do bulletproof coffee, lashings of cream etc. I agree that the low fat message is one that has led to the over consumption of carbs with all its consequences, but I'm pretty sure our ancestors weren't stuffing their faces with high fat dairy either so it is all about balance in my book, and eating enough good fats like Olive oil to make up my calorie shortfall ( which isn't much as I have weight to lose too)

I have been told if you do not peel or wash carrots etc; ( bit doggy due to pesticides ) you should get your necessary supply of B!2".
On a low carb diet, we need to eat enough fat to maintain our energy needs. Its got double the calories of carbs, wt/wt so we actually eat less in total.
Trouble is, everybody has been told the "low fat" message so often that they believe it. In my experience, arguing LCHF, increasing fat consumption, including sat fat is a near impossible barrier to acceptance by health professionals of the successful diet many of us here enjoy.
