Sounds like a confluence of dawn phenomenon and Weetabix. Typically the two don't mix very well.

You could try having breakfast much later in the day, but that may make DP worse in the medium term. Maybe swap the Weetabix out for some eggs. The former is very high in glucose, whereas the latter is not.

Just knowing how i had a few bad results - did you wash your hands and test again? I have had a couple of really bad results that i realized after was because i had cleaned a plate away or what ever and get sticky fingers. Washing and retested a 22 got me a 5!

Do a second test to confirm, if it really is that high what Jim says is probably about right

The dawn phenomenon'll be worse with the UTI driving up your blood sugars, throwing weetabix in there as well... It's just about the worst thing you could've picked to eat. I'm with Jim: Have some eggs with bacon next time, maybe with a tomato or something... Your body's going to overreact to any and all carbs as it is, and an infection makes it that much worse. Have a read here and see what foods to avoid, especially now you're ill. https://josekalsbeek.blogspot.com/2019/11/the-nutritional-thingy.html (The bacteria in your infection LOVE the glucose in your urine, they feed and multiply on the stuff... The higher your blood sugars are, the worse the UTI, so you really, really, really want to cut carbs right now. And forget skimmed milk, you want the full fat stuff or double cream. Much better.)

I'd suggest reading that advice from @JoKalsbeek on nutrition, the nutritional thingy she linked. Really good guide for a lot of T2

I would of done a second test to double check that 18... one off readings can be way off sometimes.
