Corn flakes has very high GI it used to be my favorite food but honestly now im scared of it , if i ate some and take the right amount of insulin is it gonna spike my blood sugar anyways or?

Hi. Virtually all breakfast cereals have added sugar, honey etc so are best avoided; the carbs in them are bad enough. You can always adjust insulin to match the carbs but you risk gaining weight, insulin resistance and BS swings. One bowl of cereal won't do much harm but just be sensible. Try no-added sugar muesli or better still eggs and bacon.
