Hi I have had type 2 diabetes since November 2015.
Over the last 7 years my hba1c has been in good range.
Today my result is 61 what does this mean.
I have been feeling very tired no energy.
Over last few months I have been consuming to much sugary snacks.

I honestly can’t bear the thought of insulin injections.
I have tried weight watchers lost 25 pounds gained 15 pounds back.

I honestly don’t know where to start.
I eat breakfast late can’t face early breakfast.
Any tips greatly appreciated thank you for taking time to read my post.

It's all about limiting carbohydrates to an absolute minimum.
If you don't like breakfast don't eat it Ive hardly had any in the past 7 years..
Weight watchers is a repeat business model cutting carbs should lead to fairly effortless weight loss and bring blood sugar control with it.

Sugary snacks = Poison for diabetics!

Avoid it, and your a1c should improve!

If all else fails, don't be afraid of insulin, it works much better than the pills and affords a great deal of flexibility with one's diet.

If you have no appetite for food, eat less, avoid snacks - don't try to make up for not eating a meal you had no interest in by eating something not on your diet sheet or menu.

Hello and welcome,

Well you have done well in keeping your levels in a good range for such a long time.

The last few years have been tough on everyone so don't beat yourself up to much. You obviously know what works. My suggestions would be to dramatically reduce the carbs for a while- once your levels improve that may help with the motivation to keep lower carb.

I am another who very rarely eats breakfast- I couldn't find a low carb that I liked and could eat at work so it was just easier not to eat it at all.

Good luck and welcome.
