Hi everyone. I am newly diagnosed only 6 weeks ago and after not being able to tolerate Metformin, the GP has put me on Vicoza injections once a day. I have lost 2 stone in weight and my afternoon readings are coming down to 6's and 7's (from an original 12.4) but I am still having highs first thing in the morning upon waking which I can't seem to do anything about. Usually the readings are mid 8's to mid 9's. Any advice please?
