higher fat affected blood presure ?

I have dropped down to around 30 gm per day when I was trying to keep my BG levels down below 8 mmol in the evening - not every day, but three or four times in a week. It seemed to give me the push I needed and even though I increased carbs again I now see lower numbers. I have decreased carbs this week in the hope of losing weight - now that I respond to insulin by storing fat I have to try harder to lose anything - in fact I had put on a couple of pounds last time I weighed, which was always very easy for me to do.
 
My BP dropped when I started low carbing but it was high to start with ... not much help I'm afraid in your situation

# stopped the 2 (sometimes 3) pints of lager that I used to drink every day
# strict LCHF at < 40g a day
# weight loss from 106.1 kg at diagnosis to 90.9 kg today
# increased exercise: 3 rounds golf a week, 2 mile jog 3 times a week, walk everywhere (rather than bus or car)
