Hiya I'm new here

Hiya
My name is Hollie, Im 34 and just recently been told I have diabetes...thats all I was told other than to take the medication and that was it so I don't really know much about it, what I should or shouldnt be eating or doing so I am hoping for some help and advice from people who know.
I am looking forward to getting to know you all
