I visited Luxemborg in the 70s, just cos I was a fan of radio luxemborg :lol: It seemed a good idea at the time and I was serving in the Army in Germany and doing an exchange tour at Trier. I also took the time to drive around Europe. I only stayed a few days in Luxemborg but really liked it and always said it was one of the places I'd like to revisit with my Wife.

Hi Cameraman - Did you get to see this place when you were in Luxembourg? It's Vianden Castle, and was probably very dilapidated in the '70s. It has been recently renovated and reopened to the public. We always take our visitors there as it's only a 30 minute drive away. I wanted to post a picture of Luxembourg City, but I completely blew our external drive with all my series of Luxembourg pictures taken in the Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. I unplugged it without first closing its programme down

I remember visiting a castle on a hill, but am embarassed to say I can't remember what it was called or any other details, I only had a cheap point and shoot camera in those days and a film lasted months so have very liitle pictures of the places I've been when I was younger.

Dear me, I got the wrong picture. Sorry about that, Sue. That was the outdoor pool (yes, there's an indoor one, as well) at Hearst Castle in California. He was fabulously wealthy, even wealthier than Cherry Blair. :lol:
