Informal poll:

Have you tested you home meter vs. your lab test results? (i.e. tested within minutes of lab draw)

Do you get higher of lower readings on your home meter?

My test this week:

Lab: 84 (4.67)

ReliOn Premier: 85 (4.72)
[30 minutes before lab]

Contour Next One: 88 (4.89)
ReliOn Premier: 91 (5.06)
[Both 10 minutes after lab]

For this N of one, the home meter runs slightly higher.

My accuchek mobile meter ran a bit low. 6.1 taken less than 5 mins after the blood draw, as opposed to lab 6.7. I don’t usually get a fbg just an hb1ac so can’t usually check. I hate fbg anyway as I get dawn phenomenon and it’s always my worst of the day.
