Type 1 Honey

Not really but much will depend on the quantity, from memory a teaspoon of honey has around 6g of carbs.
 
Honey is lower GI than sugar and depending on the type depends on the carb value so anything from 4 - 6 carbs a teaspoonful.
 
I buy un adulterated honey from Spain, online. To be honest the honey you buy in the shops is just watered down honey/sugar. It tastes so very different. If you can get that kind of honey its better for you.
