Hi! I have posted just recently about experiencing problems with bubbles in my pump cartridges and infusion set and have received excellent advise:). Today I have noticed that a lot of bubbles developed this afternoon after a hot day and was thinking its probably been caused by the temperature? If this is the case, as a new pump user I was wondering what people do when going on holiday/in hot weather spells?!

Hi

Cant help you there I'm afraid as I haven't yet been on holiday with my pump. I don't think that I'll be taking my pump on a plane as I'm concerned about getting an occlusion and worrying the poo out of the person sitting next to me. It will be just my luck to get one :(( lol

I always wear my pump with the lunar connector facing downwards..

So if any bubbles are created due to tempreture flutuations, then the go to the other end of the cartridge away from the tubing works well don't get bubbles traveling up the tubing
