How do I contact an Administrator?

Help! I was previously a poster here under the username BillB but now find that I have been permanently banned for spam. Since I have never posted spam I do not understand. On the "Banned notice" it says that I can contact a Board Administrator but when I follow that route my emails come back as undeliverable.
In the Forum rules it states that "individuals are treated equally and fairly". Have I been treated equally and fairly? All I did was to post a remark that a previous post was spam and should be removed. It seems that I have been removed for the crimes of someone else. How can you act as judge, jury and executioner without giving the accused a hearing?
Please check my previous postings to see if I have come even close to posting spam. And, as a 74 year old retiree, why would I post spam?
 
Hi Expat - we installed several spambots that were supposed to look for spam users and delete them as we were getting quite a fair bit of spam overnight. There's a possibility that it may have switched off your account as it had the keyword in there - I'll reactivate it now.

Did your post get removed too?

Actually - it doesn't look like you've been banned to me - just checked and your account seems fine?
 
Thank you for that, I appreciate it. I'm not sure which post you are referring to? The post where I pointed out that the previous post was spam was definitely deleted. Is that the one you're referring to?

I think your account should work... I just reset it, too. Let me know if it doesn't and apologies for the hassle.
 
Yes it was definitely deleted. And I've just logged on and I'm no longer banned. Thank you for that, Administrator, and no apologies are necessary. We've all been victims of automated systems at one time or another :D
 
So, do I understand by this that we should never include the word s**m in our posts or is this just a one-off? Some people, who don't know how to report them, write s**m in a reply box instead.
 
No - it should be OK - we removed the spam bots as we found it did deactivate a few real user accounts - so should be OK now!
 
I’ve been sent a message by the administrator but don’t understand what it means and this is only are I can see to ask them what it means.
