How Do I Lower My Bs

We are all different and what works for one may not work for another . I found that too much protein can turn into too much glucose in the blood . I found I had to keep my Protein to 0.8 gram of the weight I wanted to be so for example 64 gms if I wanted to be 80 kilos . I increased fats ( olives and nuts ) without in general terms increasing blood sugars and helped with saity. I also try to eat 16:8 (i.e. only eat in a 8hr window )and finish before 6 pm . I find that if I am dehydrated my blood sugars increase and in this hot weather I am having to drink about 3 litres of water... usually I drink between 1 and 2 litres.
Hope this helps

Fascinating there is so much to learn, I thought low carb was so simple

Low carb is simple, but keto is harder, however for some people keto let's them get good BG control when low carb is not enough. Another option is to combine low carb with intermittent fasting, for example only eating for 8hrs a day, hence fasting for 16hrs a day.

So yesterday with no milk, no obvious carbs and no Baileys a blood sugar reading of 6.4 last night that's a first under 7 in recent months and proves it has to be very low carb for me
