How do you carry yours ?

Carry mine in a backpack to and from work, which is good cause i can keep lots of supplies in there too. Have more of a problem on a night out because i dont really want to take a coat (just a hassle) and a tester, strips, pricker, and pen, mobile phone, keys , wallet, glucose tabs is a lot to cart around.

Haven't found a good solution to that yet :<

Hi Daz,
if your like me the big problem is when i am out with other guys for a 'drink'! The winter is easy as i wear either a denim or leather that has sufficiant 'inner' pockets to carry all our garbage!

but your initial question (which made me smile) is always a headache for me when the sun and the boys are out together and obviously no-one is wearing a jacket.!!...shorts, tea shirt, beer and its very difficult. During the day i normally wear a small canvas man bag and wait for all the comments from others...or you can always ask the barstaff to hold behind bar and Tell them its life or death medication.... then they will be sure not to lose it!

on an evening out in summer is the same problem, i generally wear jeans that have big enough pockets so i can carry my pen (normally both pens if its gonna be a late one).

I use a slimline one-touch ultra blood test (which i think is the best around). Its a bit large in its case so i generally seperate it. i take a few strips out seperately in a very small plastict vial (holds bout 8 strips max) as the standard strip vial is far too large/round for 50 strips. and then i take a small finger prick and the machine and leave loose in pocket.

Its a bit of an art but it leaves me with all medicine in one pocket, mobile in another and wallett in back pocket and im away!

hope this helps, feel free to comment

I was going to buy the desang slim bag, but i noticed its a lot cheaper on their american site, i'm reluctant to cough up £28 here when i can buy the same thing in the USA for £19.27p. when i visit in a month or so.
Rip off Britain again :(

I bought a Medicool Pen Plus Case, cant remember where from now but it was about £14.00 It will just about take two pens a meter and a few bits and pieces and it comes with a freezer bag that slips in the back. It can be carried or fixed to a belt if you want to look a complete wally

But to be honest I only used it once and now I either use a courier bag or a lunch cool bag that I paid a pound for in Tesco's :D
