How is the postprandial glucose curve exactly?

Hello!

I see various postprandial glucose curves and I cannot figure out which is accurate as they have different durations, peaks and values.

What I want to know is, what is the peak difference in blood glucose from normal levels and how many minutes does that happen?

I understand it depends on the glycemic index, the amount of food etc, but let's say we are talking about a normal meal.

Thanks!

Yes, there is no such thing as a glucose curve - either for a typical diabetic, or for as typical non-diabetic,

That is why (in DCUK at least) use of a Blood Glucose meter is strongly recommended for those who wish to get their T2 into remission (which requires lifestyle changes).
