I'd like to test how my BG is affected by eating a small banana, but I've only just got my meter so I'm not sure how to use it just yet. Reading on here, I see that most people test themselves two hours after a meal, but does that apply to an afternoon snack?
I ate lunch around 12.30 so it's time for an afternoon snack now. My instinct is that I test myself before the banana, and then 20 mins after? Does that sound right?
