I've been really trying to take control of my Bgs and weight seriously for 3 mths now. I've been low carbing, tho not counting carbs so not sure how low and some days do shakes and veggies.
How long did it take for you to get your Bgs down to the sort of level you're at now? Are you happy with them?
I only see 5's maybe once or twice a day and weirdly not usually before food! ie two eves this week 6.3 & 6.4 before and 5.7 & 5.9 after!! :roll:
I really would like to get my before foods into the 'normal' range but that's only happened twice in the last two days.
I also seem to suffer the dawn effect. Last night I was 5.6 and this morning 6.7. I did eat a small piece of cheese (matchbox size) as I thought it might stop the DE but obviously didn't/was the wrong thing to do.
Would really appreciate your comments. Thanks
EDIT: Did pre lunch test --5.7 !!! :lol: Hope it's the start of something good.
