How long does it take NovoRapid to respond

I've read fast acting insulin should start to work after 15 min. I'm finding my blood only starts to come down after 1.5 hours after I've taken NovoRapid. Is this normal or should I look at a different fast acting insulin?

The other comment I'd make is that many of us have identified through use of CGM that the 15 mins statement is rather an understatement and 30-45 mins is more realistic, but you need to test to determine this for yourself.

starting to find this out for myself without the help of a CGM, but at the Hospital tomorrow and I'am going to ask if I can have 1 put on again for a week just to see what is happening now I have the pump

I find the same with Humalog. Now I've got my libre I can see that it is not bringing my blood sugar down for up to 1.5 hours. Trying to remember to inject 20 mins before, but I'm finding it really hard to remember!
