"How many carbs do I need" is a bit like how long is your piece of string?
What I need will be very different to you. What my ultimate goal was will not be the same as yours.
Hopefully you can get away with more than my 30 grams a day and get the blood glucose levels that you would like to get. Testing before, after and then some again will let you know if what you have eaten is right for you. Avoid the big time culprits first and then see what you can tolerate. Look at the recipe section on here and write out a menu based on stuff you like to eat.
