How many grams of carbs do u have?

Happy New Year. I started with 100g and currently I am on roughly 30g of carbs per day.

Planned carbs: 100-150 depending on appetite. Plus as much as I need for hypo treatments

About 50 to 60 a day currently, but wondering if I should go lower.

Generally below 50g - which is where my glucose levels tend to be most stable. I try to go by the quantitiy I need to give me both a healthy varied diet, and keep my glucose as stable as possible. I believe this will be different for everyone as our diabetes will be unique to each of us.

If you are getting the results you're aiming for, why bother as it obviously isn't necessary, but if you're not then try & see how it goes. Think of them as a tool not a as target to aim for...

120g got me down to below 40 HBAC1 reading at the beginning of last year.

And then enormous quantities of biscuits and cake and bread happened.

New year, new me, and it's 100g max. Sometimes it's something like 20g a day, but it's been Christmas...

I don’t count.

I eat stuff that doesn’t contain many Carbs and that works for me. I can’t see how having a target would help.

Same for me - some days I eat more than others ie take sandwiches made with low carb bread to work rather than salad and, so far, it’s kept my BS stable.

I aim for 35-50g. Actul range is a broader 20-65g

I counted a few years back and it was around the 20g mark, I get them from cream, the occasional raw carrot (at room temp it’s like eating an apple) and some nuts and seeds but I avoid nuts as much I can, I get fat on them.

My staple diet is coffee, protein and fat.
