Hi All
Im new to this forum and new to diabetis as well. I was diagnosed last year and generally Im doing quite well. recently i started to excercise a bit and it affects my sugar levels a lot. Thats very positive but have problem with adjusting the amount of insulin i take. I experience low levels even few hours after excercising. I guess its long lasting insulin that needs to be adjusted. So here is a question? How to decide how many units to take. Currently i take 12 units before bed ( reduced from 14). i read somewhere here about 'no carb day' which apparently helps to recognise if the amount is ok. Can someone explain how to do that please? thanks a lot
