I'd probably try upping your calories, rather than restricting them further as you're already on the low side. No point restricting unnecessarily. Give it a go for a few days. What does MFS say you should be having calorie-wise? Personally, I'm trying not to get too hung up on calories, but it's hard changing the habits of a lifetime! You could also try eating smaller meals more frequently - keeps your metabolism going. Just a few thoughts, but I maybe not the best person to take advice from right now!In which case, I would suggest you adopt one of two approaches. Eat more or eat less.
If your calorie recording is accurate (by that I mean, if your serving sizes are accurate) I would guess your body is in a rut. So, I would either have a few days or a week of either very low calorie, or add maybe 400 calories - just to make your body behave differently. Sort of wake it up.
After a short while, revert to 1000-1200 calories and see what happens.
(I'm not suggesting you're fibbing about serving size, but I know I can sometimes dollop a serving, then just add another spoonful or whatever, if I'm either hungry or I just fancy it.)
I can sure relate to the obsession!I will try that. To be honest I'm (unfortunately) too like my mother, she thinks food is a waste of time, and occasionally forget to eat. It is hard when you think you are doing the 'right' thing when it all goes **** up. Then food becomes an obsession.
Thank you so much !!Claire
Well done. I hope you are really proud of your achievements 1. that your BG has improved and 2. the weight loss. You go girl!!

That is brilliant Andrew well doneJust thought I would let you all know I have started my final push down to 12 stone - From last monday I reduced my carb and fat intake and have so far dropped 3 lbs and now down to 12st 7lb this morning - I reckon 3 weeks and I will be there.
Thanks but I've stuck with that system. The high carb day is a bit of a treat so we have stuck with it as we don't get hungry. You have done well to loose your weight. Well done hope you feel better for it.lol paul that is so complicated - you are just doing LCHF but varying the amount of carb but both values are still low carb. If it is just for a few weeks to blast it off I find dropping the calories and the carbs the best way. If you want it to be a sustained loss then just do a normal LCHF and vary the fat intake.
