I was diagnosed at 9years, 3 days before Christmas. Now 28years old, will have had type 1 for 20 years this Christmas. Been on a pump for 5 years now and it's the best thing ever, got my hba1c down from 12 to 6.8
Diagnosed type 1 at age 32. Had just got married and was trying to conceive. Was a difficult time but now, 16years on, still with hubby, 2 lovely kids and an insulin pump things are pretty good.
