18 years old......type 1.
 
I was 31 when diagnosised with Type 1 ( after my Ex left us, what a plonker :lol: ) It would appear that was his parting gift to me :roll:

28 type 1 prbably had it most of my life :***:
 
I was 9yrs old on holiday with my family in ibiza. The docs thought i was dehydrated so gave me litres of sugary water to drink. Well you can imagine how i felt after that!

Type 1 at 23 after 2 months of ignoring the symptoms and insisting I was fine and probably just anaemic again..... Oops!
 
I was 31 and it was found after I had routine bloods done before surgery. I had no symptoms, so I was a little surprised.
 
Type 1 diagnosed at 27 years old. Had recently had two children but never had gestational diabetes. However, after my last child was born nearly died of pneumonia which they think triggered the diabetes.
