Are you talking about your HbA1c blood test result? This is measured in mmol/mol This is an average over 3 months To convert to a percentage just google a conversion chart, I think yours is 10.8 Remember this is an average over 3 months
Your meter gives you readings in mmol/L or mg/dl depending where you bought it.
Your A1c, which is a 3 month average, converts to an average blood glucose of 14.5mmol/L
So your finger pricks on your home meter will likely to be in a range above & below that figure.
An average non-diabetic has am A1c of 32 & average blood glucose of 5.6mmol/L so lets get working on that.
Are you diagnosed long ?
Have you excess weight especially about your middle ?
Do you exercise ?
What's your diet like ?
