I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes when I was 26 (now 44), have been on medication with excellent control. However for the past 6 months my HBa1C has been coming much higher and fasting sugars are very high. I am on Janumet 50/1000 twice a day, Jardiance 25 mg in the morning and Glimmipride 1 mg twice a day. Anyone else in the similar situation? Any better medications I can discuss with my GP?

I have been doing all that, I play badminton 3 times a week and walk about 10000 steps everyday

That is great exercise.
Dietary management is just as important. Can you give us an idea what you are eating daily?

Obviously your blood glucose levels are not responding to the current meds you are on. A talk to your GP would be advisable because your doctor has your history.

Keep safe.
