Hi needing some help if anyone has advice. I've noticed when I get high blood sugars anything above 12 I will overeat up to the point that I'm sick I still can't stop eating. I've put a little weight on recently and have been losing it by keeping my blood sugar low which is causing me problems I've had 3 severe hypos this month. I don't feel hunger at all with a low blood sugar

I try not to eat at levels of 12... I wait for them to come down.

@AnnaliseMcIntosh. Hi I've had times when I've felt incredibly hungry, checked my sugars to find I'm 12+. I've tried different solutions to overcome the intense hunger, self control ( easier said than done), drink some water ( does help), have something to eat (bolus and correction dose essential) obviously the latter may not help weight control. Ultimately the solution is to not let blood sugar to get so high, which comes down to better control (again easier said than done). You're not alone on this one, just try for better control. More testing always gives you the info that can help you to see a pattern which may be causing you to go high.
