Last week I gave away a creme egg that I was given at work. :(

Today I did even better than that. Our supervisor gave each of us a big Easter Egg (I got the kit kat one). And guess what.....I gave mine away

I think I might be finally getting smewhere with this willpower. I thought about bringing it home for my grown up kids but then decided if I did that then I'd probably eat the whole lot before they got home!

I'll just add here that I don't like the thought and don't want to be treated any different due to my diabetes so I was in no way offended at being given the egg. In the same way I didn't want to cause offence so I gave the egg away after my supervisor had left.

Now, where did I put the ones I've bought for my kids.................

Huge round of applause

If it helps - there's only 2.2 g of carbs in 1 mini egg! :D

Yay! Well done :)

Thanks for all the encouragement folks. :D

Yes, Grazer, I nearly cried but managed to pull myself together  Just kept thinking of the BG and the weight loss.

Someone even tried to talk me out of giving it away. I swithered and very nearly gave in but stayed strong

As a fellow chocolate lover I know that must have been hard so WELL DONE!!

Very well done!  . See - you can do it  and now you know you can, so it will get easier and easier from now.

"Swithered" - what a lovely word!

Well done, i think you will find it easier as time goes by. Still missing the crisps here but not dreaming about them any more.

Good luck and continue the good work.
