Do you eventually stop feeling hungry?
Should I eat lots of not carb foods at each meal to feel 'fuller'?

Actually, I'm not sure if I feel hungry, I don't feel tired like I do on loads of carbs but I feel hollow for want of a better word. I guess takes time for your body to adjust?

I am suprised you are hungry! One of the best things about this way of eating is the lack of hunger pangs. Are you doing an induction period? If so it will probably kick in when you get into ketosis.
Are you eating enough protein and fat? If you are trying to keep to low fat you will not feel satisfied.

Good Luck! :)

Only just started and don't think I'm eating enough. I don't feel hungry really just a bit strange, I don't know! Think I am just used to eating lots of carbs!

Just worry it's not healthy but got to be better than all the chocolate I used to eat! :D

Thanks for your reply.

If you are hungry you haven't eaten enough fat but if you are just peckish it means you need a bit more protein.
All the best

Thanks.
Only new to this. I'm Type 1 and on a pump and think my basals need tweaking. Can my body be pumping out extra glucose by eating low carb?

Off shopping tomorrow to stock up on supplies. I'm not feeling too bad today.

Since being on low carb high protein/fat I've found I'm hardly ever hungry but when I am it's because I haven't downed enough protein or fat. So I've always got a piece of chicken ready to eat in the fridge and I always have a tub of single cream at the ready and some strawbs. It's amazing what the cream does for you in terms of curbing your hunger.

It's no wonder there's a big rise in diabetes especially since all the 'low fat/healthy eating' **** has been pushed down our throats. People are hungry because they're not getting enough fats so they then try to make up the loss with carbs - then the high BG starts.

Grrrrrr. Why don't the Food Police leave us to decide what to eat without telling us what's healthy and what isn't by THEIR terms? :x
