Normal BG levels have been stable under 7 for the past two months. No change in Low carb diet, meds or exercise.

Had my 2nd Cortisone injection yesterday and just now feel bad, light headedness, shaking hands and body, metalic taste in the mouth, dry mouth checked my BG, difficulty in drawing blood even though the setting on the lancet is the same as always. Result 12.5.
Is there anything I can do to reduce this or just hang in there till it drops?

Hi
Sorry to hear re your problems

I think that if you are already low carb then there is a limit to what can be done without medication so you might just have to wait it out
Otherwise (and its the last thing you would want) some exercise?

Thanks for the reassurance lilibet, did manage a short walk even though feeling rough and managed to lower bg slowly.
Still higher than I want this am but feeling a little better.
