Hypo Seizure

Last week I had a hypo in the night resulting in a seizure. This was the first time it has happened.
I’m trying to find out how anyone else has felt after suffering the same? Today is the first day I feel a vague semblance of myself, albeit I’m still absolutely knackered. I’m really worn out from doing menial bits around the house. I’m a keen (although slow) runner so I’m not used to feeling like this.
I’m hoping it’s not just me.
 
Hi @rookayj - sorry you went through this - yes I've been there and you will recover (just takes a bit of time, and there is no definite time for recovery, its individual).

Don't push too hard as you'll need the rest till you feel like you're ready - physical recovery takes awhile, memory recovery (if you've experienced memory loss) can take longer (or may never happen) in my experience.

Time and keep your BG on a level will help, and try and work out what went wrong to prevent it happening again. A few serious outages pushed me to get a pump (then CGM, then looping) and that solved it for me, now much safer and know I'll not wipe out (but its a long path)

Just wanted to say, go slow be gentle on yourself, they do happen unfortunately, so takes time to come right, I see also you are a runner, it's best to just do some gentle walks to keep fitness levels up but don't push yourself for a run until you feel ready as it could zap the already low energy levels, hope you feel better soon and please mention to your DSN if you haven't done already.

Thank you :-) I’m going for a walk every day. I’m looking forward to not getting out of breath from them
