This isn't really an issue for me but was just curious but is anyone more jumpy when they are having a hypo or is it just me? I find myself jumping at the tiniest of things!
We all have different mood swings whilst suffering. Mine, that I didn't realise I was doing was shouting at the television rather angrily. Especially if was politicians talking ......! Or football.
If you are talking about being anxious, then yes. Forgetful, worried, itchy, nervous and blurred vision. Sitting in the back room with the door wide open and the wife in the front room with the central heating on in winter. Ha!
Yeah I am kinda jumpy when im hypo, im pretty good at sorting my hypos before I get bad, normally sort them around 3 and am pretty much normal at that level.
was 1.7 the other morning and had no idea what was going on.
but as nosher said we all have different moods/reactions to being low.
I have different symptoms when hypoing; mainly depending on weather its exercise, fast or slow acting insulin bringing it on.
Exercise (high cardio / muscle work at gym) i can often feel normal and then test levels and be 1.5 -4 . Until heartbeat slows down then symptoms slowly come on.
Fast Acting Insulin: Usually muscles shaking , becoming very hot and start sweating then can feel drunk.
Slow Acting Insulin: Usually the same as above but symptoms coming on slower.
