Hi
I was wondering if someone could tell me if the metro that you can get like a watch to wear throught the night because of hypo is any good,
i have my sister living with me and my family and she also has learning disabilites so it really hard to look after her and she has had some major hypo throught the night and i just wonder if it would be worth buying
thank you

Sandra,

I know absolutely nothing about this product, but could I suggest that you ask your sisters diabetes clinic for advice on this matter. It may be that they can recommend the use of this, or may alternatively know of similar products that may be more suitable to your sisters needs. Also, if your sister is having frequent hypo's during the night, it will mean that her treatment may need adjustment to prevent/limit such episodes occuring regulary.

Regards

Nigel

I have no experience of the device, but as its working description indicates it detects when sweating takes place, I think it would be best if your sister first established that she got the typical cold sweat first before obtaining one. . . . do they offer a try and return for refund if it does not work?

I do not get such sweats so it would not work on my wrist.
