sometimes im unaware of low blood sugar
and my meter is broken
any safety suggestions until i can
replace it?
a food that wont make it too high
but will prevent a low?

If you are using insulin and are hypo unaware my advise would be to contact dsn or GP straight away. My clinic has sticks of meters and strips for emergencies and newly diagnosed. Good luck

@cdpm If you're on insulin, you need a meter. Phone your surgery to get one today or buy a suitable one from Boots. I have two meters so I'm never left without one should one fail.

What insulin do you take and when?

If you're hypo unaware, you may need support from your DSN. You also need to check the driving laws in your country as there may be restrictions on the hypo unaware driving.
