Hypo unawareness

I have been trying a cgm monitor it alerted me to low blood sugar 3.7 I wasn’t aware that it was low didn’t detect any symptoms of low blood sugar it has happened a few times since I don’t realise it’s going low is this a concern should I mention this to my consultant when I see her later this month
 
Did you check with a fingerprick test? You can sometimes get false low readings on a CGM.

What medication are you prescribed?
Have you used a BG meter to check (or back up.) these low events are actually happening with the sensor?
 
Do you normally experience hypo symptoms? At roughly what BG level (as per finger prick)? Depending where you wear it, a CGM can give false “compression lows”. Also the accuracy of any CGM gets a bit worse if BG is very high or very low.
 
Oh dear, there is a known bug in the forum that means some people get their numbers mangled.
Could you write it in words?

eg three point 8 would be 3.8
 
3.9 isn't actually that low and wouldn't be counted as a hypo in the US (they use mg/dL and their hypo limit is 70mg/dL which is 3.9 instead of 4 mmol/L) Non diabetics can go a bit lower than that before meals and just feel hungry.

However, given that you are on gliclazide you have the potential to go lower (the reason the limit is set at 4 for T1s is because we are on insulin and can go much lower) so in your case I probably would mention it to my doctor, because they might (or might not) want to adjust your gliclazide dose.
 
Appreciate all advice given will mention reading from cgm to consultant I’ve been only trying cgm as a free trial fingers get sore testing numerous times a day I don’t know if I can get cgm on prescription as I’m type but I find it was useful to see the graph of my bg throughout the day.

From what I’ve read. It’s a Tappatalk emoji bug regarding rendering on forum posts with IOS users?
