Hi guys;

Just a quick question, to see if any one can help me. I've started to walk to work over the past couple of weeks and at around 11:30 I start to Hypo, I just wanted to know what people have for breakfast or anything they can advise me to do, this morning I did adjust my insulin by taking a unit off, in the morning I'm going to try taking off 2 units see if that helps.

I look forward to reading what you guys suggest to me and a big thank you in advance :)

If you adjust bolus by 1 unit first time.. Why did you then give another additional 2 units next time??
You are more likely to send yourself hypo by suddenly going from ur original dose down 1 unit and then effectively down 3 units in total.

You dont say how much insulin you usually have with breakfast. some people find they need to reduce their insulin by 25-50% before exercise, depending how long and how vigorous the exercise. The other option ( if weight gain is not a problem) is to each a carbohydrate snack mid morning. It will be trial and error to find out what works best for you.

I wouldn't recommend putting your insulin doses down. I found that after exercise, I tend to go into a hypo. Whereas, before I exercise now, I eat something high in carbohydrates, for example, ready brek/porridge. This helps a lot!
