its hard, on the one hand, im trying to lose weight and just eat what i think is good but on the other side, the rebelious side thinks f-it, i want to eat whatever i want and not let T1 rule my life but its a way of life that i have to adjust toSorry to hear your struggling , but you will get familiar with it I.e what foods are good for your insulin and what aren't

Actually, once you learn carb counting, it will be much easier to eat whatever you want - and how much you want. It takes time (and tears, as you've found) but you WILL get there. It becomes a way of life. that is so helpful thank you. so sorry for what you have been thru and are going thru. i have suffered from depression in the past and been to counselling for other things, im just worried its going to be like i felt back then. maybe i need to see my gp earlier rather than later xOh hun ino how you feel diagnosed type1 Christmas started on the mixed insulin then they put me on the same as you novarapid 3 times lantus bedtime at first i was so confused and i got real down my nurse sent me to the gp and we talked about depression and i had counselling. Then after i started carb counting it wasnt so bad i was controlling it i can eat pretty much what i like in moderation ofcourse, But my tiredness didnt go and then i started to get down again then we found out that i had underactive thyroid, i started my treatment and now i had alot more energy i may need to up my dosage soon but for now i feel alot better. Believe us when we say that i didnt at first i though i was pretty much stuffed i still have those days but not often good luck hum

Diabetes is a *******, it can change your moods if your blood sugars are too high. You can become angry, depressed and stressed which raises your blood sugars further and then you're going round in circles without even realising. What level are your blood sugars at the moment?
