I feel so bad...

So you had a little carb fest. Happens to the best of us. I throw caution to the wind and eat what I like once or twice a week. Life's too short not to enjoy food and I figure being miserable all the time is far worse for my health than the odd BM spike.
What I'm trying to say is don't beat yourself up about it ;-)

Cheers, Tom

My consultant gave me the most fantastic homemade indian. It was what she eats and is 100% no sauce and just cooked as in India. Nothing like jars added!!! It had chopped up bones in the meat.
It was the best curry I have ever tasted. When I see her next I'll ask for the recipe ic she can get it from the cook that makes her food. It was the best Indian ever tasted and no sauce in sight..

Really Tom,what else do you put in a fish stew, never made one before...ty
I like it tomatoey (sp) and a bit spicy. More like a tagine. So Onions Garlic, toms, tom puree, ginger. turmeric, cumin, chilli and diced chorizo. A handful of chopped coriander chucked in at the end. Serve with rice, and some greek yoghurt to cool things down.

Well I will try that but without the rice,I have Choritzo slices from a packet, will they do,or is it better with the sausage...ty

They'll do. I get the dried sausage and cut it into little cubes, so you have something spicy to get your teeth around. Have you tried basmati rice? Has a less detremential effect on glycaemic control than long grain which is about the same as drinking Tate and Lyles.
