I spoke to the GP today to get my full results from my 2nd set of bloods taken last week, to say I am pleased is an understatement.
Previous results from Feb 2017
HB1aC - 92
Cholesterol - 6.8
Liver function - all ok
Kidney function - all ok

HB1aC - 34
Cholesterol - 3.6
Liver function - all ok
Kidney function - all ok
Since being diagnosed as T2 in February this year I have been trying to stick to a LCHF diet, I dropped 15kg while on Metformin and lately Gliclazide and a Statin for the Cholesterol. The Dr was very pleased with my progress and asked me to drop the Gliclazide
He also said I should be pleased with the results, which of course is an understatement, I am actually over the moon and came off the phone with a big beaming smile on my face
I have to go back in February to get another set of bloods done but I am hoping to hold the latest figures. I have managed to keep the weight off without trying too hard, and I am feeling a lot better for it
There is life after diagnosis....
