FOOTBALL. MY husband is a sports fanatic and watches everything. Most i can put up with just not football.
Feeling a bit fed up at the mo. I seem to be telling my DSN about how chronic pancreatitis is affecting my sugar levels and because two types of cells are being killed off not just the insulin ones my levels are going to be all over the place and is going to be difficult to treat. She has been ringing me to see how i have been doing on the insulin but because she has started me on a low dose nothing has happened and she thinks its because i have been eating all the wrong foods and sort of tells me off for it. I told her what i had been eating but she doesn't seem to believe me
I also told her that the weight is just falling off my again :D (not through choice though :( ) but through the CP and she says my sugars arn't high enough to cause weight loss. They are high enough to cause nerve damage and am finding it difficult to walk and sleep. My levels are around 11.8 to 20.9 mainly around 18 ish. Besides its the lack of the enzymes from the pancreas thats making me lose the weight not the diabetes. My point is that she is the specialist and should know how the pancreas works and shouldn't jump to conclusions.

RANT OVER :shifty:

Hi Mistee,

Not High enough!!!! Between 11 -20!! Mine were 16 when I was told I was Illegal to drive as my vision was blurred to to excessive sugar. It would be nice of her to give you the benefit of doubt. I had also lost some weight. What does she think the weight loss is from?.

Chin up Mistee you are doing a fab job. Cant she see that the pancreatitis has not only made you diabetic but has probably complicated things too. You are always being supportive to others.

I hope you get more encouragement and help next time you speak to someone... :)

Sending HUGS ((((X))))
